Charmed by Umo Eno’s love portion

Big announcement! My father is getting married again. He is the groom every bride wants to wed. He is one of Nigeria’s richest, so he can afford to take a new wife once in four years.
Every new wife can only marry my father for only four years. If she is deserving, we, his children convince him to extend the marriage by another four years. We did it for the current wife whose contract marriage expires in 2023. Because my father won’t stay a day without a wife, he had since mandated us to find him a replacement.
There is nothing we have not seen since we made public the fact that my father will be taking a new wife by 2023. Ask my siblings, they will tell you what my mouth can not say.
The dramas. The gimmicks. The desperation. So desperate that some of them won’t mind killing some of us if we dare oppose their ambition. Well, let them do all they want. Desperados will never get a chance with my father.
Children of my father, the search is finally over. I have found a perfect bride for my father. It is not a decision I made in a haste. It’s a decision that took all of ten months.
Ten months of sitting on the fence. Ten months of thorough screening and scrutiny. Ten months of solemnity and fervent prayers for divine direction. Ten months after, it is Pastor Umo Eno that has won my heart.
Imagine that I bought the lies they sold. Lies meant to poison my heart against an innocent bride. Rather than fall for the lies, I went in search of the truth. Truth, like every treasure, must be searched before it is found. Thankfully, Umo Eno was kind enough to open the doors for the search.
They said he had skeletons in his cupboard. Some people would have taken offence. While others showed arrogance, Umo Eno showed patience and the humility to let me search everywhere.
He was sure the skeletons they talked about were mere fabrications of a typhoid infested mind. I’m teaming up with people of good conscience to bring a shameful defeat to all the lies.
23th July, 2022 will never be forgotten. It is the day I met face to face with Pastor Umo Eno. It was a privileged meeting that took place in his Eket residence. A meeting that I got to ask about 150 questions in 3 hours. How would anybody looking for a perfect pride not find one after such a meeting?
You can say 23th July is the day I fell in love with Pastor Umo Eno. Was I charmed by the rice I ate? Is it the drink I was served? Love portion served in food or drink doesn’t work for me. I have eaten too many of it to know this. It is Pastor Umo Eno’s patience, humility and depth that I fell for. Love is a beautiful thing indeed.
Like Dbanj, the koko master, I never thought I will fall in love this very season. I didn’t want to risk my heart being heartbroken. I would have been just fine waking up every day to chase my dreams and enjoying the convenience of a quiet life. God forbid that an evil wife should break into my father’s life and ruin his life.
If we don’t all wake up, there will be gnashing of teeth. Nobody should be telling adults the danger of a bad wife and wicked stepmother. We won’t be able to live as family again if Jezebel picks the day. She will rob us of everything we have ever been blessed with. God forbid Jezebel as my father’s next wife.
This future in our hands, who do we give it to? We are doomed if we end up selling it for a pot of porridge like Esau. We are too great a people to let our stomach dictate for us. Everything doesn’t have to be about food.
It can not be told in a day what I have seen in Pastor Umo Eno. Resist the urge to be blinded by blackmail and sentiment. There is nobody in this race with more love in the heart to go round seven million children of my father’s household than Pastor Umo Eno.
There is nobody in this race with better plans for the seven million children of my father’s household. The truth has finally arrived, every falsehood they planted will be uprooted and burnt. To finally fall for Umo Eno is to be in love with the truth about our future.
Having tasted it, it is now my place to make sure as many people as possible gets to eat Pastor Umo Eno’s love portion. You too will be charmed by the powers of Umo Eno’s love.
