Village Heads in Essien Udim Laud Gov Eno, Council Chairman Over Christmas Gifts
Village Heads in Essien Udim Local Government Area have expressed profound gratitude to Governor Umo Eno, PhD and the Executive Chairman of Essien Udim LGA, Elder Ntiedo Usoro, for their kind gestures during the Christmas season.
Speaking at the Council Secretariat, Afaha Ikot Ebak, during the distribution of rice and cash gifts to all the villages in the area, the royal fathers lauded the Governor’s benevolence and exemplary leadership, which they said has fostered peace, unity, and harmony across the local government.
Chief Lawrence Stephen Akpan, Village Head of Nto Okpo and Mr. Daniel Akang, Village Chairman of Ukana Ikot Okuetim, speaking on behalf of all the villages, commended Governor Umo Eno’s vision for inclusivity and his efforts in building bridges of unity despite political differences.
They described the rice and cash gifts provided by the Governor as a timely act of love and solidarity that brought succour to the people during the festive period.
They also acknowledged the leadership of Elder Ntiedo Usoro, whose dedication to the welfare of Essien Udim residents continues to strengthen the bond between the government and the grassroots.
The royal fathers assured the Governor and the Council Chairman of their unflinching support to foster peace, love and the development of Essien Udim and Akwa Ibom State as a whole.Y
