The Apostolic Church set for Ikot Ekpene Field Major Convention
All is now set for the 19th Field Major Convention of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Ikot Ekpene Field from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th, April, 2022.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Field Director of Media and Public Relations, Elder Manasseh Umoette on behalf of the Field Council and made available to newsmen.
According to the statement, the 4 day spiritual converge with the theme, “Surely He Hath Borne Our Griefs” Isa 53:4 will take place at the Church Convention Ground, along Ikono road, Ikot Ekpene by 9am(morning) and 4pm (evening) each day.
The statement indicates that the Field Superintendent of the church, Apostle EtopAbasi Akpan is the convener, while the Territorial Chairman of the church in Akwa Ibom State, Pastor E.O.Uye is expected to grace the convention.
According to the statement, Pastor I.W. Udo shall speak on theme of the convention during the welcome Meeting while Pastor E.U.Ebe will preach on” The Cross and Its Significance” on Friday morning. Pastor J.D.Umoh will adumbrate on “Jesus’ Words on the Cross on Friday evening.
Also, Pastor U.T.Udoh will anchor on the sub theme”With His Stripes we are healed” during the healing Meeting, while Pastor R.G.Umoabasi will speak on the sub theme,”Lift Up Your Heads O ye Gates” during the convention Meeting on Saturday morning. Pastor N.K.James is billed to anchor the Tarry meeting by 3pm on Saturday while Pastor Elijah N.Udeme shall speak on “He shall see of the travails of his soul and shall be satisfied.
Meanwhile, the Field Superintendent, Apostle EtopAbasi Akpan shall preach on the sub theme” The Resurrection of Jesus and its significance to Christianity” during the divine worship service on Sunday morning. There shall be Witness Open Air service to be anchored by Pastor Ime U. Etok. Pastor M.A. Etokudo will speak on the topic, “My Peace Be on to you” during the closing service.
The convention will feature special prayers, song renditions and other spiritual exercises. It invites Apostolic faithful, friends and all lovers of God to the convention.
