The Apostolic Church Nigeria holds 20th Ikot Ekpene Field Major Convention, April 6
All is now set for the 20th Field Major Convention of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Ikot Ekpene Field from Thursday 6th over Sunday 9th, April 2023.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Field Director of Media and Public Relations, Elder Manasseh Umoette on behalf of the Field Council and made available to newsmen.
According to the statement, the 4 days of spiritual converge with the theme” For God So Loved The World ” Jn3:16 will take place at the Church Convention Ground, along Ikono road, Ikot Ekpene by 9 am (morning) and 4 pm (evening) each day.
The statement indicates that the Field Superintendent of the church, Apostle EtopAbasi Akpan is the convener while the Territorial Chairman of the church in Akwa Ibom State, Pastor E.O.Uye is expected to grace the convention.
According to the statement, Pastor M A.Etokudoh shall speak on the theme of the convention during the welcome Meeting while Pastor Ime B.Umanah will preach on” God Showed us His Love and Died for us” on Friday morning. Pastor R.G.Umoabasi will adumbrate ” Surely, He bore our griefs because of love” on Friday evening.
Pastor E. N. Udoudeme will speak on “By His Stripes, ye were healed” by 5 am on Saturday during the healing meeting.
Also, Pastor J. D. Umoh will anchor on the sub-theme “Reasons why we should love Him” by 9 am on Saturday. Pastor U.T.Udo will anchor the tarry meeting by 3 pm while Pastor N. K. James will speak on ” What shall I offer unto Him to reciprocate His Love?” by Saturday evening.
Meanwhile, the Field Superintendent, Apostle EtopAbasi Akpan shall preach on the sub-theme” He loved us and raised us up together and made us sit together in Heavenly places ” during the divine worship service on Sunday morning. There shall be a Witness Open Air service to be anchored by Pastor Ime U. Etok by 3 pm while Pastor I.W. Udoh will speak on the topic,” To maintain God’s love, draw near to Him” during the closing service.
The convention will have special prayers, song renditions and other spiritual exercises. The statement invites the Apostolic faithful, friends and all lovers of God to the convention.
