Swearing-in: Essien Udim Council Chairman congratulates Pastor Umo Eno
The Essien Udim Council Chairman, Mr Anthony Luke has congratulated Pastor Umo Eno as he assumed office as the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State and wished him a successful administration.
The council chairman prayed for God’s guidance and wisdom for the new Governor to pilot the affairs of the State and pledged the loyalty, support, and cooperation of the people of Essien Udim to his administration.
This was contained in a message of felicitation by the chairman on May 29, 2023.
The council Chairman who described Pastor Umo Eno as a golden gift to Akwa Ibom state expressed optimism that with his wealth of experience in the private sector, he will transform the state and also make life better for the people.
“As a seasoned administrator and manager of both human and material resources, we do not doubt your capacity and competence to take the state to an enviable height and also ensure a better life for the Akwa Ibom people,” he remarked.
According to the Chairman, Pastor Umo Eno has the pedigree, and integrity to manage the state resource, and create jobs for the teeming youth population in the state through entrepreneurial development.
He called on the Akwa Ibom people to join hands with the new government to move the state forward.
