Step 1: Kindly dial *#61# on your phone to know if your phone numbers and lines are being monitored
Step 2: When you dial the code (*#61#), it will show whether your calls or FAX or data are been forwarded / monitored or not.
Step 3: If it shows “Not forwarded” it means that you are safe. Thus, the followings will display on your screen:
Voice: Not forwarded
Data: Not forwarded
FAX: Not forwarded
SMS: Not forwarded
Sync: Not forwarded
Packet: Not forwarded
PAD: Not forwarded
Video: Not forwarded
Step 4: If it shows “Call/data/fax Forwarded” that confirms that your phone numbers and lines are being monitored! When this occurs, please do not panic. It can be removed from your phone forever.
How to remove the Monitoring Device:
Step 5: If it is forwarded, please dial ##002# to remove the “monitoring device” from that phone numbers and lines. You can do this to All your phones and lines. Then, no secret security agent can ever monitor your line again.
