Senate 2023: Why Enoidem must be given chance – NAGG
As the count-down to the flag-off of National Assembly political campaign begins, a pressure group in support of Atiku/Okowa Presidential bid, NewAge for Good Governance (NAGG) has said for equity and justice to prevail in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, Barr Emmanuel Enoidem must be given a chance to take a shot at the senate in 2023.
The International President of NAGG, Hon. Engr. Oto-Obong bong Essien, who stated this while addressing the press after an extra-ordinary meeting of the body in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District recently, also canvassed support for Atiku/Okwa for the presidential election, Pastor Umo Eno for Governor Akwa Ibom State and all PDP candidates in the 2023 elections.
While asserting that PDP remains the biggest and strongest party in Akwa Ibom State, Miss Essien commended the party for standing for justice and equity by allowing Enoidem to fly the party’s flag as the Akwa Ibom North West senatorial district candidate of the party.
She stated that Barr. Enoidem is the “best choice and the right man to represent the senatorial district” in the 10th national assembly.
“If we must be sincere in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District and for equity and justice, Abak federal Constituency must be allowed to also produce a senator to represent the zone and Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem deserves such opportunity.
“As we all know, Ikot Ekpene Federal Constituency has had their shot at the Senate for five times, Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency went for two times, Ukanafun Oruk Anam two times while Abak, Ika/Etim Ekpo Federal constituency has not had such opportunity before.
“”So, NAGG represents justice and equal right, I am urging stakeholders, the elites, elders, women, youth and others to do the right thing and allow justice to prevail in the zone. Abak, Ika/Etim Ekpo Federal Constituency must be given the opportunity in 2023. We must all work for the success of Emmanuel Enoidem.
“Enoidem has paid his dues in the senatorial district and Akwa Ibom politics. He has made many others what they are today. He is a kingmaker. He is a force to reckon with and a very loyal party man who has also stood in support of others to succeed at various levels. He is a great political ally,” she explained.
The International President who described Enoidem as a leader par excellent and a grassroot politician and a man of the people, stated that he has impacted on many lives within the senatorial district and beyond.
“We must not let PDP down in Akwa Ibom. We are all beneficiaries of the party in the state. Even those who are fighting the party today were made what they are by the party””.
“PDP remains the biggest party in Akwa Ibom State despite all the shinanigans you have seen around. That is why I advise people to remain calm and stay in the umbrella for continuous progress and development of the state”, she stated.
