Senate 2023: Enoidem ends Wards tour with assurances of victory
In preparation for February 25, 2023 senatorial election, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem has concluded his tour of the 108 Wards in the 10 LGAs in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District with assurances of victory by the electorate.
Barr. Enoidem who has broken records as the first candidate in the history of the Senatorial District to take campaigns to the ward level has been commended by the people who adjudged him as “the most prepared, committed and passionate” candidate.
In all the Wards visited by the Enoidem Campaign Organisation, the team was received with pop and pageantry while also assuring the candidate of victory at the poll come February 25, 2023.
Enoidem who tagged his campaign message “People First” vowed to give the people effective and efficient representation if voted into office as the senator representing the zone in the Red Chambers of the National Assembly in 2023. He assured the people that his representation at the national assembly will be people centered and focus on the needs of the people in the zone by sponsoring peoples oriented and quality bills.
The issue that dominated the discourse during the tour was the need to allow Abak, Etim Ekpo, Ika Federal Constituency where Enoidem comes from to produce a senator for the zone for equity, fairness and peace in the Senatorial District.
It will be recalled that Abak Federal Constituency is the only bloc in the zone that has not produced a senator before.
Meanwhile, stakeholders in the Senatorial District are in one accord to ensure that the Abak Federal Constituency and Barr Emmanuel Enoidem succeed at the poll come February 25, 2023.
From Ikono to Ikot Ekpene to Ukanafun to Abak the people are united in their support to Emmanuel Enoidem Senatorial ambition.
In his appreciation letter, the Senatorial Candidate, Barr Emmanuel Enoidem thanked his teeming supporters for their overwhelming support and show of love through out the Ward tour.
“”From the farmlands of Ukanafun and Oruk Anam, to the Rice fields of Ini, from the Palm grove of Etim Ekpo and Ika, to the cradle of Ibibio civilization in Ikono, from the Annang cultural headquarters in Ebibit Afaha Obong in Abak, to the agrarian basin of Obot Akara, from the raffia epic center of Ikot Ekpene, to the Goldsmith factories of Essien Udim, you the people, my constituents, showed in words and action, that my Senatorial aspiration belongs to you and you alone,” the letter reads.
The Senatorial Candidate expressed gratitude to the State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel and his wife, Dr Martha Emmanuel as well as the state Deputy Governor, Mr Moses Ekpo, the campaign Director General Sen. Emmanuel Ibok Essien and members of the campaign organization for their show of love, support and solidarity.
Enoidem also appreciated all Federal and State House of Assembly candidates and the people from the zone for their massive support and cooperation.
The letter also read: “Also worthy of commendation are Heads, Deputy Heads and Secretaries of Directorates, members of the House of Representatives and State House of Assembly, Commissioners, Chairman of Boards and Parastatals, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, Special Advisers, Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of Councils, PDP State Officers, Chapter and Ward Chairmen/Party Executives, Councillors, Ward Leaders, Heads and members of Support Groups, and all who in one way or the other, contributed to the success of the Ward Campaign.
“”The next phase of the campaign is the most critical as we move on to our Door-to-Door/Unit-to-Unit mobilization in the ten local government areas ahead of the February 25, 2023 Presidential and National Assembly election.
