Reappointment of Sir John Etim: Group Hails Umo Eno
A frontline sociopolitical group in Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area, Amanyam Integrity Group(AIG) has appreciated Governor Umo Eno for his developmental strides as well as his efforts at uniting Akwa Ibom State.
The Amayam Integrity Group made this position known in a statement jointly signed by the President of the group,Dr.Unyime Udo Udo and Secretary, Elder Charles Inyang and made available to newsmen.
The group lauded the governor for the reappointment of Sir John Cleton Etim as the Transition Committee Chairman of Ikot Ekpene Local Government Council. It described Sir John Etim as a consummate politician and grassroot administrator who has impacted every part of Ikot Ekpene in the last 6 months with people oriented projects and programmes as well as carrying along all the Stakeholders of the area.
The group thanked Governor Umo Eno for the ongoing model Primary Health Center at Mbiaso, Amanyam Clan which is part of the one project per local government by the governor.
AIG also appreciated worthy sons of Amayam Clan holding various offices in the state. These include the Member representing Ikot Ekpene/Obot Akara State constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Elder Jerry Anso Otu for a good representation in the house and the commissioner for Labour and Manpower Planning, Elder Aniefiok Nkom for his effective interpretation of the Arise Agenda of the governor and always staying true as a representative of the people of Ikot Ekpene in the State Executive Council.
The group also lauded the Vice Chancellor of Akwa Ibom State University,Prof Nse Essien for offering effective leadership to the university and contribution to the development of Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area.
The group pledged it’s contagious support and loyalty to the Umo Eno led administration and the Arise Agenda of the governor.
