RE: Nsikak Ekong administers Mbiam on delegates:
Blackmail taken too far
The attention of the #Ekongabasi campaign team of Rt.Hon Nsikak Ekong, one of the foremost support groups of the member representing Ikot Ekpene federal constituency to the above false story emanating from The Eyes Newspaper, one of the local tabloids in Akwa Ibom state.
Ordinarily, we could have ignored this falsehood perpetrated and sponsored by Lilly livered purveyors of doom who are afraid of the towering popularity of Rt.Hon Nsikak Ekong ,his achievements and Acceptability by the delegates, hence the blackmail to derail his focus.
In other words, for the sake of the innocuous public we had to put the record straight even as we are poised to challenge same in the law court.
That Rt.Hon Nsikak Ekong is a straight forward politician who doesn’t contemplate on such devilish act of administering Mbiam to delegates.
That his achievements as the member representing Ikot Ekpene federal constituency endeared the delegates to queue behind him.
That we challenge the sponsors of this blackmail to mention the delegates administered with such oaths.
That no amount of such blackmails can deter our principal from coasting home to victory on the nomination day.
That the general public should disregard such falsehood in it’s entirety as our principal, Rt.Hon Nsikak Ekong is not involved in such practice.
Rt Hon Ekong is a brand who doesn’t need such dubious act to be accepted.
The blackmailers should channel their energy to promote their aspirants to be popular than resort to tarnish people,s image.
In view of the above, the Editors of The Eyes Newspaper should retract this falsehood with an apology to Rt.Hon Nsikak Ekong within 7 days or face legal actions.
