Christians have been charged to cultivate the lifestyle of praying always as God is able to meet praying Christians at the point of their needs.
An Akwa Ibom based Cleric, Reverend Etetor Sambo gave the charge during August 8 Sunday service at the Qua iboe Church, Uyo Township, 2 Olusegun Obasanjo Way, Uyo.
Rev Sambo, who is the Superintendent of Uyo Township Superintendency of Qua Iboe Church said although people have been praying at homes, churches and offices, God wants Christians to get closer to him individually through prayers so that he will give solutions to their problems.
According to the Cleric, when Christians maintain cordial relationship with God, they can approach him as a listening father and commune as friends .
Reverend Etetor Sambo pointed out that it is not the will of God for people to pray consistently without receiving results.
The man of God told worshippers to make prayer an habit saying that they are many things the Lord wants to pass through prayers to meet people at the point of needs.
He explained that there are mysteries that can only be revealed to man during prayers and however called on Christians to rid themselves of sin and embrace righteousness inorder to receive constant results when the pray.
The man of God who took his sermon from Isaiah 56:7, advised Christians to be careful and observe the Covid-19 safety protocols even as they make prayer a lifestyle, adding that when people adhere to advice and seek God constantly through prayer, he will bring healing to the nation.
