Prince Akpabio presents car as wedding gift to Essien Udim PDP youth leader

Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Prince Ukpong Akpabio, at the weekend, surprised the Essien Udim Chapter Youth Leader of the PDP, Cmrd. Raymond Ekpe, with a car gift on his wedding day, in appreciation of his support to the party.
Comrade Raymond Ekpe and his wife, Princess Unwana, received with gratitude the brand new Toyota Camry car from Honourable Commissioner, Prince Akpabio.
Members of the Essien Udim PDP caucus and other prominent personalities witnessed the joyous occasion. They included Barr. Martin Umana, Engr.Oliver Ebong, Hon.Victor Udofia, Mrs Mfon Udoima, Mrs Rose Thompson, and the wife of the Honorable Commissioner for Trade and Investment.
Also present during the ceremony are Mrs Doris Usen, Prince Nsini Umana, Hon.Emmanuel Useh, former Deputy Chairman of PDP in the state, Hon (Sir) Sunyiekekere Inokon; Chairman of Essien Udim Youth Caucus, Engr. Udim Awa, and other stakeholders in the youth wing.
While presenting the car, Prince Akpabio congratulated the new couple and prayed God to grant them good health and fruitfulness. The Commissioner also urged them to be steadfast in the word of God to help them to be good partners.
Sir Sunyiekekere Inokon, who was the chairman on the marriage ceremony, enjoined the couple to maintain their love for each other, even as he prayed God to sustain their marriage.
In his response, Comrade Raymond Ekpe expressed his immense gratitude to the Honourable Commissioner for surprising his family with the gift of a saloon car.
Ekpe specifically thanked the Commissioner for being a quintessential, sagacious, benevolent, and magnanimous leader who always cares for the people.
The Youth Leader, who commended Prince Akpabio for his giant strides in the state’s Ministry of Trade and Investment, also lauded him for his resilience and commitment to the welfare of Essien Udim people, in spite of the nation’s economic challenges.
The couple who wedded at The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria along Silas Udo Street, Uyo, on Saturday, November 13, earlier had their traditional marriage at the bride’s family compound in Ikot Obong, Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area on Thursday, 11th November, 2021.
