…Eyibo removed as CRBDA Chairman
President Muhammedu Buhari has approved the immediate removal of Hon Eseme Eyibo from office as the Chairman, Cross River Basin Development Authority.
This was contained in a letter signed by the Permenant Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources, Mrs Didi Walson-Jack and sighted by Morenews.
The letter did not state reasons for the removal as Mr Eyibio was asked to handover to Engr Ademola Ayadare a member of the board.
The removal took effect from 1st October 2020.
Eseme Eyiboh, was the former spokesman of the House of Representatives, renowned for his sterling role as the Dean of the Initiatives, the intellectual driving force of the House of Representatives between 2007 and 2011.
He had served as Chairman of the Akwa Ibom State Ethical and Attitudinal Reorientation Commission.
He was the Spokesman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Akwa Ibom State during the 2019 elections
Eyiboh is a chieftain of the APC in the state.
