PDP National Convention: Governor Emmanuel congratulates Atiku
The Governor Udom Emmanuel who was one of the presidential aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated the winner of the party’s presidential ticket, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Atiku is the former Vice President of Nigeria and a former PDP Presidential candidate in 2019 elections.
Atiku emerged the party’s presidential flag bearer after defeating 11 other aspirants in the just concluded PDP presidential primaries that took place at MKO Stadium, Abuja by scoring 371 votes out of the total votes of 767 while Governor Emmanuel scored 38 to come fourth in the race.
In a thank you message signed by the State Commissioner for Information and strategy and Director, External Communications, Udom Emmanuel Campaign Council,
Mr. Ini Ememonong the aspirant commended the party leadership for conducting “very peaceful and transparent presidential primaries. Also deserving commendation are members of the Convention Planning Committee, led ably by Sen. David Mark, who greatly toiled to plan and execute the convention.”

“We are still resolute in our belief that our country needs a rescue plan, which we know PDP offers this country,” the release remarked.
