OBA 2023: I have lofty and workable plans for Akwa Ibom
Senator, Bassey Akpan generally nick named OBA, says that he has lofty and workable plans to make Akwa Ibom better.
Addressing some of his supporters under the aegis of OBA Believers Political Network (OBPN), in a solidarity rally held in his honour in Uyo recently, Senator OBA stated that his past and present pedigrees at both the executive and legislative levels of governance can testify for his genuine love and interest in developing the state and the people.

Senator Akpan reiterated his commitment to continue with his people-oriented services to the state and humanity with the fear of God and vowed to transform the face of the Akwa Ibom for the better as Governor in 2023.
The two-term Senator urge the people to remain resolute in their support and trust God to grant their heart desires.
The Chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum Upstream maintained that he remains the only one who has trained over 450 Akwa Ibom youths in federal universities and produced over 20 first class graduates in the last few years.
He urged other aspirants who are ready for the forthcoming gubernatorial election to base their campaigns on issues and not to intimidate his supporters.
“If you want election, come out and tell the people what you want. If you pray and I pray for the same thing, we should wait for God to answer then we know who it favours. Not by intimidating Akwa Ibom people who are delegates”, he said.
The National President of OBA Believers Political Network, OBPN, Hon. Mary Ikpoto, in her address, reiterated the group’s willingness, and commitment to stand with and by Senator Albert Akpan, despite all form of threats and intimidations from any quarter.
Hon Ikpoto described Senator OBA as people-oriented politician with an enviable record in human capacity development and empowerment.
The OBPN President therefore called on youths, women and elders in the State to continue to support Senator Albert to become the next Governor of Akwa Ibom by 2023.
