NUJ Akwa Ibom: Federated Chapel set for maiden journalism retreat, Wednesday
All is now set for the first journalism retreat organized by the Federated Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists Akwa Ibom State Council.
A release signed by the Secretary of the Chapel, Comrade Emmanuel Ntekim and made available to www.morenews.ng shows that the mega event will take place on Wednesday, 27th April 2022 at the NUJ press centre, Information Drive, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State by 10am.
The event which has as it theme: MEDIA APPRAISAL AND SELF DEVELOPMENT” will have talks on Journalism and Security while the the Chancellor, Ibom Patriots, Obong Bassey Inuaeyen is expected to serve as chairman of the occasion.
According to the release, the topics that will be dispensed by resource persons includes: Journalism, Political Communication and the Future of Akwa Ibom, Journalism Practitioners and Self Branding/Marketing, Thriving as a Journalist in a Social Media Era and Journalism and Business.
The event will be graced by the creme ‘d la creme in the journalism profession in and outside Akwa Ibom State while individuals, groups and organizations are also encouraged to attend.
