Nto Annang Foundation helmsman bags Outstanding Leadership Award
The International President, Nto Annang Foundation, Abom Ephraim Okon, has been honoured with Outstanding Leadership Award by the Akwa Ibom State Council, Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Sensor Chapel.
Presenting the award, the Chairman, Sensor Chapel, NUJ, Akwa Ibom State Council, Elder Abasiofiok Inyang, commended the award recepient for his outstanding leadership role in Nto Annan Foundation and his philanthropic gestures.
He thanked Mr Okon for his contributions toward the success of the just concluded Sensor Chapel Week and to the NUJ, Akwa Ibom State Council in general.
He described Abom Okon as the pride of Annang Nation and Akwa Ibom State who has imparted immensely to the society, adding that the award is well-deserved.
Responding, Abom Ephraim Okon, who is also a United Nations Ambassador of Sustainable Development Goal Network, thanked the union for the recognition and promised to do more for the union and humanity in general.
The Country Representaive, Population Media Center (PMC) commended journalists in the Akwa Ibom State for their role in keeping the society informed and setting agenda for nation building.
Okon described journalists as the voice of the common people and charged them to contribute their quota to the socio-economic development of Akwa Ibom State and the nation in general through objective and balanced reportage.
“I thank you so much for this honour and I am motivated to do more for the union and humanity at large,” he remarked.
