Nkom, wife fete Ikot Ekpene people at Christmas/New Year
… drums support for Gov. Eno’s ARISE AGENDA
Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Labour and Manpower Planning, Mr. Aniefiok Nkom urged the people of Ikot Ekpene Local Area to continue to support the developmental efforts of Governor Umo Eno led administration in order for him to succeed in translating his vision as encapsulated in the ARISE AGENDA into reality.
The Commissioner made the plea on the 31st of December, 2023 when he and the Wife hosted the people of the local government area in the spirit of the Christmas and new-year.
He distributed food items across political wards in the local government area, while the Wife donated wrappers and cash to some widows, assuring them of better days ahead and a prosperous new year to the people of the local government area.
The end of year/new-year party was witnessed by political leaders in the Local Government Area.
The food items were received by political leaders representing all the political Wards in the Local Government Area for onward distribution to those they consider as less privileged in their various wards.
Among Stakeholders who witnessed event were, the Political leader of Ikot Ekpene, Senator Emmanuel Ibok Essien, Transition Committee Chairman,Sir John Cleton Etim, House of Assembly Member representing Ikot Ekpene/ Obot Akara State Constituency, Hon. Jerry Otu, the Chairman, Ibom Power Company, Engr. Etido Inyang, immediate past Chairman of Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area Obong (Hon.) Unyime Etim, among others, who commended the Commissioner and the wife for their magnanimity.
