Niger Delta: Essien Udim people applause Sen Akpabio’s uncommon leadership disposition
As part of his working visit to the Niger Delta Region, The Honorable Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio reaffirmed his commitment to bring succour to the youths of Essien Udim Local Government Area.
Sen Akpabio who stated this while meeting with some stakeholders in the area charged the youths to remain law abiding and give President Muhammadu Buhari a chance implement the demands of the #EndSARS Protesters.
The minister said that peaceful protest is a tool of passing massages to the government of the day which should not be abused.
He commended Buhari for being a civil friendly leader who has taken note of all challenges in the country.
The former Governor of Akwa Ibom State further stated that he is ready to partner the government of the state in service delivery stressing that the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC has a lot in stock for future of the region.
He thanked the youths and the community leaders for always standing by him and the governments.
He pleaded that the community would have seen more dividends of good leadership if not for the global COVID-19 Pandemic that hindered most of the activities of government for the year.
The Host, the immediate past member representing Essien Udim State Constituency, Obong Nse Ntuen, applauded the Uncommon leader for finding time to meet with his people.
He pledged his loyalty to the Nextlevel Administration of President Muhammadu Buhari stressing that Essien Udim people will always stand by him to attract lofty programs to the people of the community.
