Mkpat Enin PDP: Prof Eno Ibanga begins infrastructural upgrade of Secretariat

In furtherance of his avowed support to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Mkpat Enin Local Government Area and beyond, the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Works and Fire Service, Prof. Eno Ibanga has begun a facility upgrade of infrastructure at the secreterat of Mkpat Enin PFP.
The project which has begun with the laying of the foundation for perimeter fencing of the Secretariat, when completed will ensure a complete facelift and improvement of the aesthetic value of Mkpat Enin PDP Secretariat.
While inspecting the project this afternoon, Professor Eno Ibanga said that PDP is the largest political party in Africa, hence her prestige must be made visible in all aspects.
He informed the party officials led by Rt. Hon. Anietie Sunday that when the facelift is completed the members of the party in Mkpat Enin will be proud of the party house.
The Commissioner also instructed the handlers of the project to engage as many youths as possible as a form of empowerment to the people and to ensure speedy completion of the work.
While appreciating the Commissioner for the gesture, Hon. Anietie Sunday remarked that the party is proud of the performance of the Commissioner both at his official duty post and at the home front. He prayed God’s blessings on the Commissioner while promising that the party will continue to give him the necessary encouragement to continue in his good work for the state and Mkpat Enin people.
According to the Supervisor of the project, Mr. Ikanke Samuel, facets of interventions approved by the Commissioner include; construction of perimeter Fencing with two gates, finishing of the main building, tiling and furnishing of the offices, installation of borehole, water tanks, and plumbing works, and landscaping of the premises.
Recall that recently, the works Commissioner donated a brand new Toyota Camry (XLE) to the Chapter Chairman, Mr. Anietie Sunday to reward the party Chairman’s commitment to the party and his effort at ensuring the victory of Governor Udom Emmanuel during the 2019 election.
Other party officials present with the Commissioner include, the Vice Chairman- Mr. Emmanuel Jacob, Secretary- Prince Nse Essien, Assistant Publicity – Hon. Aniedi Ekanem, amongst others.
