MAN to partner NEXIM, Bank of Industry on rubber exportation
The new chairman of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, MAN, Akin Oyediran, Cross River and Akwa-Ibom States chapter has pledged to partner with NEXIM Bank in the exportation of Syringes, rubber, Transformer, recycling product and other agricultural produce in the zone.
The newly elected MAN Chairman disclosed this on Friday, 14th October 2022 during his two days maiden visit to NEXIM Bank and companies located at the (CFTZ), Bank of Industry Calabar, Asi-Ukpo comprehensive cancer, Center, Danelec Transformer Manufacturing Industry among others.
Oyediran said MAN Cross River State and Akwa-Ibom State under his watch to key into the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AFTA) and mobilized industry and companies with available opportunities in the export market.
According to MAN helmsman, “my visit to Cross River State is to identify companies and industries that can export agricultural products and make them work together with NEXIM Bank, for them to get the necessary information they need from the Bank,” he remarked
Oyediran who doubled as the managing Director of Jubilee Syringe manufacturing Ltd Onna in Akwa-Ibom State opined that he was particularly very impressed with the familiarization visit to industries in the Calabar Free Trade Zone (CFTZ).

In his remark, the regional head of NEXIM Bank, Calabar office Soni Osaghale said what MAN is doing is part of NEXIM Bank’s focus on export.
His words he said, “We understand the export market, we do advisory service for the export market, we are set up as an export credit agency, ( ECA) and our targets are to drive the export market and help the government to earn foreign exchange””
Stressing that NEXM bank is poised to partner with MAN in the promotion of export goods in line with the AFTA agreement.
Those who accompanied the MAN chairman to the facility tour were User Umoh Vice Chairmen, GM of Royal Farms Ltd, Nnamdi Nwanneka executive director of TSI Property Investment holdings, Secretary Clinton Offiong, and the Administrative manager of Danelec Transformer Industry among others.
