Gunmen abduct school girl in Akwa Ibom
A female student of Western Annang Secondary Commercial School (WASCO), Idorenyin Michael Okon, 13, was kidnapped at about 9pm on Monday at Ikot Akpa Ntuen in Ukanafun LGA.
The junior secondary school one student who hails from Ikot Ibekwe was kidnapped at her brother in-law’s shop near The Apostolic Church in the village. The victim’s brother in-law, Mr. King Sunday Mark who is a casket and upholstery artisan could not be reached for comment.
The unwanted visitors were said to have robbed in the shop before whisking the girl away. Family sources said that the police had visited the crime scene that night but no contact was established with the two trigger-happy abductors as at the time of filing this report.
