Insecurity: Ikot Ekpene re-enforces restrictions on motorcycles
Operators of commercial motorcycles within Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area have been reminded of the restriction of their movements and operations rule between the hours of 6pm to 6am
The Chairman of Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. Unyime Etim gave the reminder after a security meeting today with a resolve that the earlier ban and restrictions of Motorcycle movement by the State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel in the local government area is still in effect.
Hon. Etim in his statement further said to effectively enforce the directive of government in Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area, men of the Nigeria Police will commence enforcement with immediate effect.
He urged the general public especially motorcycle users to adhere according to the government regulations and rules.
