Governor Emmanuel’s completion agenda is on course – Information boss
The Akwa Ibom State for Information has reiterated Governor Udom Emmanuel’s commitment to his administration’s completion agenda.
The Commissioner who stated this in a press conference in Uyo on Monday, 7th February 2022 reassured the people that all ongoing projects by Governor Emmanuel’s administration will be completed before the end of his tenure on May 29, 2023.
The Commissioner insisted that the governor has not derailed from his campaign promises and manifestoes as his administration is working hard to deliver dividends of democracy to the people.
He called on the people to continue to support the governor’s completion agenda adding that the governor is focused determined to deliver on his promises to the people.
“Very soon the state will become project commissioning siteas work on project sites are in advance stages,” he assured.
Ememobong noted that the unveiling of the governor’s prefered successor was part of the completion agenda of the governor Emmanuel administration stressing that the Governor like every other citizen has right to support whoever he want as his successor.
Putting the record straight on the governor’s pronouncement of Pastor Umo Eno as his preferred aspirant, the commissioner stated the governor is only a medium God had used to reveal his successor to him.
He noted that naming his preferred aspirant by the governor does not exclude other intending aspirants from aspiring and also expressing their intention to contest for the party’s ticket.
The government spokesman stated further that the governor has no intention to imposed his choice to the party and the people of the state but only exercising his right to make a choice.
The information boss noted that the governor is still opened to consultaions by other gubernatorial aspirants and also wishing them well.
