Federal Polytechnic condoles Acting Rector mother’s death
The Management, Staff and Students of Federal Polytechnic, Ukana in Akwa Ibom State has commiserated with the Acting Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Mrs. Mercy Ebong over the demise of her beloved mother.
The Polytechnic urged her to take solace in the fact that she has gone to be with her creator.
This is contained in a condolence message endorsed by the Registrar of the Institution, Dr. Okon J. Ekanem and made available to newsmen.
The condolence message reads” on behalf of the Management, Staff and Students of Federal Polytechnic, Ukana, i write to commiserate with you and the entire family on the demise of your beloved mother, Madam Grace Udoudo Udioko”.
“It is obvious that her death is a great loss to you especially when you reflect on the memories of wonderful times spent with her , the motherly love, care, advice and wise conselling . Indeed we are deeply saddened by her death considering the fact that your mother passed away at the time you needed to tap from her fountain of wisdom. However, you should look beyond this sad exit knowing that your mother has gone to be with her creator”.
The message further reiterated that the Polytechnic Community shares in her grief as her mother’s exit has undoubtably created a vacuum in the family, urging members of the family, including herself to be consoled and emulate the happy memories and her good works while she was on earth.
Late Madam Grace Udioko,82 will be laid to rest on Friday March 22nd after a funeral service to be conducted by the Methodist Church Nigeria, Ukana Iba, along Ikot Ekpene -Abak highway.
