2023: Ezekiel Nya-Etok consults Uyo Paramount Ruler, gets royal blessing
The Akwa Ibom State governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress, ADC, Arc Ezekiel Nya-Etok, has received the royal blessing of the Paramount Ruler of Uyo, Edidem Sylvanus Effiong Okon, ahead of the 2023 election.
This was the highpoint of the consultation visit of Arc Ezekiel Nya-Etok’s campaign team to the royal father at his palace, 40 Udo Ekpomkpo Street, Uyo on Friday, 21st October 2022.
Blessing the ADC entourage, Edidem Sylvanus Effiong Okon harped on the need to sustain the current peace disposition in Akwa Ibom State and prayed God to produce a worthy governor for the come 2023.
The Clan Head of Offot Ukwa lauded the governorship hopeful for his passion in social governance and urged him to reward his supporters, praying God to grant him his heart desires.
He sued for the spirit of sportsmanship and peaceful coexistence among the people, particularly among politicians as electioneering kicks off in ernest, while warning politics of bitterness, bigotry and blackmail.
In his remarks, Arc Ezekiel Nya-Etok told the Uyo Paramount Ruler and his Eniong Offot Village Council that they were in the palace to pay homage to the royal father as the Landlord of the seat power he is seeking to occupy.
