Essien Udim Council Boss Swears in Council Secretary, Chief of Staff
The Executive Chairman of Essien Udim Local Government Council, Hon. Ntiedo Usoro has tasked the newly sworn-in Secretary of Council and Chief of Staff to put in their best for the overall interest of Essien Udim people.
The Chairman made the remarks while administering the oath of office to Dr. (Mrs.) Margaret Udofia as Council Secretary and Hon. Sir. Uduak Isobara.
“You were appointed because of the trust reposed in you and to contribute meaningfully towards the development of Essien Udim local government and betterment of the grassroots.”
The Chairman advised the Secretary of Council and Chief of Staff to view their appointments as a call to serve and to respect the established authority in carrying out their duties.
Dr. Patrick Umoh, Member of Parliament for Ikot Ekpene/Essien Udim/Obot Akara Federal Constituency, offered congratulations to the newly appointed officials on their nominations. He also urged them to maintain allegiance to the Executive Chairman and be cognizant of their responsibility to the people of the area.
In their expressions of gratitude, the newly sworn-in secretary and Chief of Staff pledged to demonstrate unwavering loyalty and diligently discharge their duties with utmost efficiency.
