Diamond Jubilee: Akwa Ibom NIPR holds Monthly Meeting, Launches Green Campaign
In celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the Akwa Ibom State Chapter invites members and public relations practitioners in the state to join its Monthly Meeting on Thursday, May 30, 2024, and its Diamond Jubilee Walk on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
Both events will be held at the Image House, off Information Drive, Uyo, at 4:00 pm on Thursday and 8:00 am on Saturday.
Chapter Chairman Elder Manasseh Umoette announced that the Institute, at both national and state levels, is dedicated to “making Nigeria green, refreshed, renewed, and reinvigorated.”
He stated, “We will plant 60 trees in major Nigerian cities and conduct a diamond walk on Saturday, June 1, 2024. This initiative aims to promote environmental responsibility. The walk will feature aerobics, music, dance, and more.”
Elder Umoette encouraged Institute members, public relations practitioners, and interested members of the public to participate in these activities.
