Deborah Umoette for burial Saturday
The remains of a business mogul and Community leader in Uruk Uso, Ikot Ekpene,late Prophetess Deborah Umoette will be laid to rest on Saturday,30th April,2022.
This is contained in a statement jointly signed by Ambassador Joseph Umoette- for the family and Mr. Augustine Isong Jacob- Chief Mourner and made available to newsmen.
According to the statement,the late Prophetess Deborah Umoette died on 1st March,2022 after a brief illness at the age of 71.
The statement indicates that the remains of the septugenarian shall be interred on Saturday, 30th April at the family Compound after a funeral service to be conducted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Ikot Ekpene, Nigeria Stake, Ibiakpan Ward by 10 am at number 4 Church Road, Ikot Ekpene.
The statement states that the deceased was an international business woman whose line of business took her around Africa and Europe.
She is survived by a son- Augustine Jacob Isong, Amb. Joseph Umoette, Obong Emmanuel Umoette, Elder Samuel Umoette,Hon.Jeremiah Umoette and Deacon Solomon Umoette-brothers;Mrs Grace Etokeren,Mrs Elizabeth Emmanuel Essien-sisters, Elder Manasseh Umoette- nephew; grandchildren, great grand children and a host of other relatives to mourn her departure.
The statement invites in-laws, friends and well wishers to the funeral.
