C’River Gears Up For Rebranded Trade Fair Before November End
The Cross River State government is gearing up to host a rebranded trade fair before the end of November 2024.
Dr. Abigail Duke Orok, the state Commissioner for Commerce and chairman of the Steering Committee for the fair, revealed the plans recently during a media briefing at the Ernest Etim Bassey Press Centre in Calabar.
The upcoming Fair, scheduled to take place at the U. J. Esuene Sport Stadium from November 15 to 26, 2024, aims to serve as a multi-sectoral trade promotion and networking event, bringing together various industries to foster collaboration and business opportunities.
“The fair aims to create opportunities for trade, business, and investment in the state” Duke stressed.
“The Fair, which tagged,
,In Support of Our Shared Prosperity” is aimed at creating opportunities for trade, business, and investment promotion in the state,” Duke stated.
She maintained that the event would also provide markets for new products, access to new trends, and the chance to forge business relationships within and beyond Nigeria.
Targeted participants include representatives from all 18 local government areas, private companies both within and outside Nigeria, foreign embassies and consulates, as well as state governments nationwide.
Duke clarified that the fair is not intended for practitioners of herbs and traditional medicine, but rather for entrepreneurs seeking collaboration and innovative ways to actualize their business ideas.
The trade fair is poised to be a significant platform for economic growth and development in Cross River State, promoting a spirit of shared prosperity among participants.
