Coronation: Akase felicitates Ter Kwande
A prominent Benue State governorship aspirant for the 2023 elections, Mr Terver Akase rejoices with His Royal Highness, Engineer Timothy Tavershima Ahile, on the joyful occasion of his coronation today (Saturday, November 6) as the new Ter Kwande who will superintend over the affairs of the Kwande Area Traditional Council.
Mr Akase who is a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP guber hopeful, describes as historic and divine, the ascension of Chief Ahile to the throne of his ancestors as Ter Kwande the 4th. He expresses hope that the reign of the new monarch will witness the sustainance of peace, justice and fairness for all and sundry in the land of Kwande, which he acknowledges as the ancestral home of the Tiv nation.
The immediate past Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, describes the new Second Class Chief as a true father figure, an embodiment of uncommon humility, upright and peaceful disposition, desirable attributes which he says, earned him the confidence of the kingmakers who elected him to serve his people as a traditional ruler.
He expresses conviction that the new Ter Kwande with a track record of unblemished civil service and university administration over the years, possesses the pedigree, experience, charisma and desirable moral rectitude to rule his subjects in the Kwande traditional domain.
Mr Akase commends the Kwande Area Traditional Council for the transparent choice of an experienced technorat and seasoned administrator as the new traditional ruler, whom he says is well positioned to contribute to the development of the community and add value to the traditional institution in the State.
He wishes the new God’s guidance for a peaceful reign and pledges his loyalty and submission.
