Collection of taxes: Uyo Local Government Council approves11 companies for 2022
The Executive Chairman of Uyo Local Government, Dr. Uwemedimo Udo has approved the appointment of 11 companies as accredited revenue consultants of Uyo Local Government for collection of taxes and levies in the year 2022.
A statement signed by Ubong Udofia, Council Secretary, for: EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN identified the consulting companies as follows:
1. Macrec Trust Ltd – for collection of taxes, rates and levies from Shops and Kioks on major roads within Uyo Local Government Area.
2. Patcy Resources Ltd. – for collection of taxes, rates and levies on bicycles, carts and wheelbarrows
3. De Jucaduk Nig. Resources – For collection of taxes, rates and levies on corporate organisations.
4. Yuffins Nig. Ltd., for collection of taxes, rates and levies on billboards and outdoor advertisements.
5. Edlya Nig. Ent., – for collection of taxes, rates and levies on POS & Lotto businesses.
6. Praisebrown Ventures – for collection of taxes, rates and levies on Supermarkets.
7. De Mbarukas – for collection of taxes, rates and levies on Telecommunication Masts.
8. Honeymat Limited – for sale of emblems to non-private vehicles.
9. Emman Obot & Co. – for collection of Tenement Rates.
10. Alphapay Technologies Ltd. – for collection of taxes, rates and levies on Private Schools.
11. IPMAN – for collection of taxes, rates and levies on Petroleum Products and Gas businesses.
“These appointments are with immediate effect. Members of the public are by this notice advised to cooperate with the consultants accordingly,” the statement read.
