Catholic Bishops Conference confirms Fr Nyoroh as National Chaplain of Nigerian Correctional Service
The Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) has endorsed and confirmed Rev. Fr. Barr. Victor Nyoroh, CM as the Nigerian Correctional Service’s National Chaplain.
The Bishops confirmed Fr. Nyoroh’s appointment on Wednesday, August 26, 2021, at Holy Ghost Cathedral in Enugu, Enugu State, Nigeria.
Until his new appointment, Nyoroh was the Prisons Chaplain of Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja, FCT Command of Nigerian Prisons Service, Abuja and the Executive Director of Earthspring International (Vincentian Fathers) Nigeria in partnership with CHAMPIONS FOR CHANGE, an Advocacy and Leadership International group on RMNCH, based in California, USA, sponsored by BILL and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Nyoroh is also an incorporated member of an international Congregation of the Missions (Vincentian Fathers) one of whose province is in Nigeria. He measures in Philosophy, Theology, Law, Environmental Education, International Studies and Leadership Scholarship in CIF (Paris).
