Bandits attack Buhari’s convoy in Katsina
Gunmen suspected to be bandits have attacked President Muhammadu Buhari’s convoy in Katsina State
This is contained ina statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on media and publicity, Mallam Garba Shehi on Tuesday night
According to him: “attackers opened fire on the convoy from ambush positions but the military, police and DSS personnel who always accompany the president”s convoy repelled them”.
He stated that the President’s advance team were on their way to Daura in preparation of President Buhari’s visit to his hometown for Sallah celebration.
Two persons were injured and receiving treatment in the hospital according to he release.
