Akwa Ibom NUJ appreciates former commissioner, Nkom
The Nigeria Union of Journalists has appreciated the efforts of the immediate past Commissioner for Labour and Manpower Planning, Hon. Aniefiok Nkom towards the successful hosting of the 2023 NUJ Thanksgiving Service.
Leading the delegation, the NUJ Chairman, Comrade Amos Etuk, commended Hon. Nkom for his overwhelming support at the Thanksgiving Service held in Ikot Ekpene on 22nd January, 2022.
Comrade Etuk extolled the humane attributes of the statesman and his commitment to the progress of Akwa Ibom State.
In his reaction Hon. Nkom noted that he places premium on relationship and good character which has been his guiding principles in life. He promised to continue to support NUJ in whatever way possible.
High point of the event was the presentation of souvenir gift by the NUJ Chairman to the former Commissioner.
Present during the visit were the Chairman of the NUJ 2023 Thanksgiving Service, Comrade Manasseh Umoette and Secretary, Comrade Margaret Umoren.
