Akwa Ibom APC lauds Buhari over appointment of party chieftains into Federal Boards
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Akwa Ibom State has commended the President Muhammadu Buhari over his recent appointments of some committed members of the party in the state into Federal Boards.
In a statement issued by the CTC Chairman. Hon. Dr. Ita Udosen and signed by Nkereuwem Enyongekere, State Publicity Secretary on Saturday, April 10, 2021, the party assured the President that none of the appointees from the State will betray the trust and confidence reposed on them by Mr. President.
Describing them personso of proven Integrity and vast wealth of experience in their different areas of endeavours, the statement enjoined the appointees to use this opportunity to serve the nation creditably, believing that they have no other country than Nigeria.
Those appointed from the State by Mr. President include Arc Ubokutom Nya as Chairman of the Governing Council of Federal College of Education (Tech), Gusau, a member of APC State Publicity Committee, Ms. Rachael Kufre Nse, as member of the Governing Council of Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Owerri, Imo State, Dr. Nduehe Esitikot as member of the Governing Council of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Uwana. Enugu.
Also appointed is the widow of the late State party Chairman, Mrs. Idara Ini Okopido, as member of the Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, Imo State.
The party calls on other party faithful to remain committed, as more appointments may soon come their way.
