Again, Gov Umo Eno’s PA donates to School in Essien Udim.
Prince Akanimo Bassey Johnny, Personal Assistant to Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State, has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the welfare of his constituents.
On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, Prince Akanimo distributed school uniforms to pupils of St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Nto Okpo, Okon Ward, as part of efforts to assist parents who may not have the means to provide uniforms for their children.
In his address, Prince Akanimo expressed his dedication to ensuring that the people of Okon Ward benefit from Governor Umo Eno’s Arise Initiative.
He maintained that the initiative aims to bring the benefits of democracy closer to the people and charged teachers in the school to be committed to their duties and encouraged the pupils to stay focused on their studies, reminding them that their future success starts from their current efforts.
He inspired them to dream big, aiming high enough to become leaders like the President of Nigeria, Governor of Akwa Ibom State, minister, senators or even local government officials, successful business men and women thereby contributing to the growth of the Nation in general.
In his words, “I will continue to do my best to ensure that people of Okon feel the impact of Governor Umo Eno’s Arise Initiative, by bringing devidence of Democracy to Okon Ward”.
The Headmistress of the School, Mrs. Otune, along with the pupils, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Governor Umo Eno and his aide, Prince Akanimo for their kind gesture.
Community representatives present at the event lauded Prince Akanimo for his dedication and commended the Governor and his aide for their consistent support and contributions to development of Okon Ward. They thanked Prince Akanimo for fulfilling his promises to the community and offered their prayers for the continued success and health of the Governor and his aide.
The community representatives also pledged their loyalty and prayers for the administration of Governor Umo Eno and Prince Akanimo Bassey Johnny, expressing their hope for divine guidance and wisdom in their endeavours.
