Media Team noted that the water projects comprise 15 motorized boreholes and 45 hand pumps.
The boreholes were provided via a mixture of constituency projects, capital projects and personal donations by the Sadiq Umar foundation just to be able to meet the target of 58 boreholes targeted for the first year.
The water projects were conceived with priority given to the underserved or unserved communities because they are previously hard to reach areas.
The joy of the communities knows no bound as most of the residents have not seen clean drinking water in their communities until now.
In addition the Senator has engaged in the repairs of several boreholes to ensure constituents have access to clean drinking water because water is life and most illnesses are as a result bad water.
The Senator has promised that before 2023 no community in Kwara North will drink bad water again, considering the efforts being made by elected representatives from federal to state levels and indeed the State government in providing water to his people.
The national legislator charged the communities to take ownership and safeguard the projects
