Strike looms in AKSU as ASUU gives management, government 14-day ultimatum.
Students of Akwa Ibom State University, AKSU, may soon join their Federal Universities counterparts in streets following a looming industrial action in the state University.
This is contained in a communique issued at end of the Congress of Academic Staff of Union of Universities, Akwa Ibom State University Branch (AKSU-ASUU) held at the Main Campus of the University, Ikot Akpaden.
The Communique, entitled “Resolution on Stoppage of 75% of Salary and Payment Arrears”, sought to address certain factors militating against ASUU members in AKSU.
