…Sen Etok felicitate Ndaeyo
The Proprietor, Fortune Schools, Senator Aloysius Etok has congratulated Professor Nyaudo Ndaeyo on his emergence as the 8th substantive Vice-Chancellor of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) .
Sen. Etok described Ndaeyo’s Victory as an attestation to the fact that the University of Uyo academic environment appreciates academic excellence, humility, peaceful Coexistence and sincere leadership with genuine concern for the overall good of the staff and students of the great citadel of learning as Ndaeyo will make the institution proud with his sterling qualities.
According to a statement from the Information, Communication, and Public Relations Directorate of the institution, Prof Ndaeyo who is the first Nigerian member in all legislative chambers of the country will bring his wealth of experience to bear in the administration of the University.
The Chairman, Fortune Polytechnic and former Senator representing Ikot Ekpene Senatoral District in the 7th senate expressed optimism that the new Vice Chancellor will reposition the University and consolidate the gains of his predecessor, Prof Enefiok Essien when he takes over the mantle of leadershio in the institution.
He described Prof Ndaeyo as a man of impeccable character and academic excellence adding that does not doubt that Nyaudo with his wealth of experience and content of characters who will always make the University proud.
He commended members of the University Senate Council and Governing Council of the University for finding Ndaeyo fit for the position while assuring them that with his pedigree he will not let them down.
Etok also lauded the council for the conduct of a free and fair selection process.
He urged other aspirants for the position to tow the path of sportsmanship and desist from petition writing for God Almighty knew Ndaeyo even before he came out of his mother’s womb, just like the case of Prophet Jeremiah in the Bible.
