Annang Community Abuja Honours Clement Jimbo
The impeccable and people centric Honourable Member Representing the excellent people of Abak/Etim Ekpo/Ika Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Rep. Clement Jimbo today received a pat on his back as one of the best performing Honourable Members of the National Assembly from Akwa Ibom State.
Rep. Jimbo received the commendation from Annang Community, Abuja, during the Inauguration of the 8th Executive Council, Induction of Trustees, Patrons and Patroness of the Association at Akwa Ibom House, Abuja on Saturday, 13th April 2024.
The Federal Lawmaker who was one of the Guests of Honour at the event was also honoured with an Excellent Service Award to appreciate his effective representation at the 10th National Assembly and for transforming the lives of Constituents.
Speaking at the event, the ebullient legislator thanked the outgone and newly inaugurated President of the Association for uniting Annang sons and daughters at the Federal Capital Territory and tasked them to keep the fire burning.
Speaking further, he lauded the Members of the Association for their various contributions to keep the Annang flag flying in Abuja and pledged his continuous supports to his brethren.
On the proposed building of Annang Community Secretariat in Abuja, Rep. Jimbo who was accompanied to the event by his beloved wife, commended the Association for such a lofty idea and donated one million naira to support the building project.
