Senator Okorocha Governor Uzodinma and 2023

I believe Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha knew what he signed on, in trying to challenge for the top job in 2023.
He knew the propaganda that will follow, he knew the attacks, the vendetta that will follow, he knew that lies will be manufactured to paint him black.
After the APC convention, he was clear that the battle will never end unless he comes public to declare that he is not contesting for any office in 2023 but he won’t, he told us that the political battles of 2017 was only the beginning.
Senator Okorocha knew that he was stopped from producing a successor because they feel that continuing his legacies will give him leverage for 2023, he was aware that not producing a successor means everything he was working on will be abandonded, projects, policies etc will be thrown into the garbage bin no matter how wonderful it was, but they never knew it was two edge sword, abandoning those programs alone are failures of Uzodimma’s government too.
He wasn’t supprised that the cargo section of Imo airport was not opened till date, that all universities built were left to rot, all mega projects like prison and police headquaters etc, were abandoned despite the security implications. That the security structures he formed to safeguared the state were disbanded despite the security implications.
Senator Okorocha has, however, decided to focus on the future, treated Uzodimma and his politically motivated distractions as none existent., you could see that he is focused, he knew that Uzodimma’s primary role for the 2023 elections is to stop Senator Okorocha using state mercinery. You could see that each time there is any positive news regarding Okorocha, a counter negative one will come from Uzodimma’s government. Its no surprise though.
Issue of white paper and all it came with are even more laughable. I was reading a part of the resolution in the white paper and I saw that where the report of the committee favoured Okorocha, he will reject it, where it goes against his camphope government officials, he will also reject but where it was designed to disrepute Okorocha, he will quickly accept the recommendation.
I saw a case in that of IMSU where Senator Okorocha’s appointee as Vice chancellor, Adaobi Obasi was given clean bill to conclude his tenure as VC , Uzodimma in the paper, rejected the recommendation, when the panel said that his Commissioner for Education, BTO Ikeqwuoha did not merit his rank as professor and should be investigated, Uzodimma rejected the recommendation. All this are in the report.
But all other recommendation that he feels will nail Senator Okorocha or those that served in his goverment were all accepted, even the lands being allocated to thousands of willing investors of Imo origin to develop, create jobs and develop the state under Okorocha, they said the over 1000 lands belong to Senator Okorocha even though it was clear that, they are just innocent citizens that applied for land to invest and was granted.
They tagged them Okorocha’s family or friends. Offcource the entire Imo people are Okorocha’s family and friends, it was made evident during his 8year tenure, he was with the people, the government house was open for people.
Senator Okorocha heard directly from the people unlike now that the government declared every victim of misgovermace in the state an enemy, the current government even blames the citizens who are victim of wickedness from government for their predicaments.
While we continue to watch and pray for the state to recover from Uzodimma’s government, we also pray that there is a state left to govern by a more legitimate government in 2024.
