Charles Adams: Foremost School Administrator for Burial Saturday, 23
The remains of a retired School Principal and social crusader, Late Elder Charles Akpabio Adams will be laid to rest on Saturday, October, 23rd, 2021.
This is contained in a family statement signed by the Eldest son of the deceased, Mr Etieneobong Charles Adams and made available to newsmen.
According to the statement, funeral service in honour of the Late Charles Adams who died at the age of 64 will be conducted by The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Uruk Uso District at Methodist Primary School, Anwa Udo Akai, Ikot Ekpene by 10 am.
The statement described late Adams as a man who embodied the long held dream of Nigeria producing dedicated and passionate teachers to shape the face of education in the country. Widely regarded as a noble teacher who invested his entire working life and experience into the teaching field.
Late Adams was an Elder of The Apostolic Church, Uruk Uso and was committed to his service to God as well as humanity.
According to the statement, Late Adams attained the rank of a Principal General where he retired after having rendered his Thirty five (35) years of selfless and meritorious services to the Government.
Among the schools he taught during his service years include: Community Secondary Commercial School, Ukana East, Essien Udim, 1980 – 1986, State Secondary Commercial, College
Okop Eto , Ikot Ekpene 1986-1987, St Columbanus Secondary School , Ikwen , Obot Akara 1987-1989, Kizito Comprehensive Secondary School , Adiasim, Essien Udim, 1989- 1993, Eastern Nsit Secondary School, Odot Nsit Atai 1992-1993 among others.
The statement invites friends, associates and well wishers to the funeral to pay last respect to the iconic teacher.
