Nsit Ubium Reaffirms Support for Governor Udom Emmanuel’s Completion Agenda
… As Lands and Water Resources Commissioner fetes Party

Elated by the appointment of Pastor Umo Eno as the Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources, the people of Ibiakpan Obitim ward II, in Nsit Ubium Local Government Area have reaffirmed their support to Governor Udom Emmanuel’s completion agenda.
This was made known yesterday during a notification and appreciation meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibiakpan Obotim ward II.
The meeting which was at the instance of the Commissioner, took place at his country Home in Ikot Ekpene Udo.
In his remarks, the Commissioner noted that the meeting was put together as an avenue to officially notify the ward of his appointment by the Governor and to appreciate the ward for always standing in support of the Governor.
He announced that the Governor had sent him to appreciate the Ward and with a promise to continually prioritize the welfare of citizens.
Pastor Umo Eno commended the party hirachy in the area for approving and honouring his invitation for the meeting, adding that it was the beginning of greater days for Ibiakpan Obotim ward II and the Chapter generally.
The Commissioner urged them to continue in support of the Udom led administration and his succession plan.
Earlier in his speech, the Ward Chairman, Mr. Ukpong Michael commended Governor Udom Emmanuel for appointing one of their own into the State Executive Council adding that the Ward will continue to queue behind him.
He appreciated Pastors Umo Eno for hosting his ward and the items presented before them and prayed for God’s blessings and protection upon him and family.
Similarly, the Chapter Chairman – Mr. Edet Inyang Eno expressed delight with the appointment and commended the Commissioner for honouring the Ward with delectable and more.
On his part, the Uyo Senatorial District Vice Chairman, Mr Ibanga Brownson thanked God for answering their prayers through Governor Udom, stressing that the opportunity will be cherished by all in the area.
He noted that hosting of party members was usually a preelection event, but thanked the Commissioner for defying such practice.
Mr Brownson reiterated their resolve to support the Governor through his administration and the succession plan adding, “we will stand by you through thick and thin.”
