2023: Pastor Umo Eno is the next governor of Akwa Ibom – Apostle Isaiah Isong declares
…Insists his aspiration is divinely endorsed
As the count down to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) continues and political tension, intrigue and gimmicks rent the air ahead 2023 elections, the President, Fathers in Faith for Good Governance in Akwa Ibom State, Apostle Professor Isaiah Isong has insisted that Pastor Umo Eno’s governorship aspiration is divinely endorsed and therefore nobody can challenge the will of God.

The General overseer of the Believers Assembly of Nigeria who stated this during a prayer conference by the body at Great Faith Church, Uyo on Friday, 13th May 2023 prophetically declared pastor Umo Eno as the next governor of the state in 2023 as the forth coming PDP Gubernatorial primaries and general election will only be a mere fulfillment of constitutional provision.
While absolving Governor Emmanuel of alleged imposition of candidate on the people by chosing Pastor Umo Eno as his preferred successor, the man of God asserted that the governor was only obeying the will of God by announcing and endorsing him as his preferred, he maintained that God has already since year 2020 revealed to him in a trance that Pastor Umo Eno will be the next governor of the state in 2023 and therefore has no fear of his success in any elections despite intimidations and blackmail.
“”We will continue to pray for him to succeed though the PDP Primaries and the 2023 elections will be a walking over for Pastor Umo Eno because that is the will of God for Akwa Ibom,” he opined.
The Father of Faith postulated that Akwa Ibom State been named after God cannot afford to have a leader who is not divinely ordained and Chosen by God as governor positing that the reason the body endorsed Pastor Umo Eno as their preferred candidate in the 2023 election is that he is a righteous man with God’s conscience who is rooted with the word of God and can be called to order if he makes mistakes in his administration.

“”Akwa Ibom needs a man with God’s conscience who will be able to listen and take Godly advise. We don’t need a Pharoah in Akwa Ibom, we don’t need a cultist or a hard-hearted fellow and someone with the tendencies of violence.
“We have tried a deacon before as governor in the state and he did not disappoint us so we have no hesitation supporting a Pastor, a shepherd of God’s flock at the helms of affairs in the state after Udom Emmanuel,” he insisted.
While adding that Pastor Umo Eno is God’s answer to their prayer for a better Akwa Ibom and also has good pedigree as a successful and indigenous entrepreneur who will encourage hard work among the youths and also empower them to be useful partners in the project Akwa Ibom by doing something meaningful for themselves thereby contributing to a better state, the man of God pledged the body’s resolved to ensure good governance in the state by always calling the governor to order if he derails.
On the objectives of the Father’s in Faith for Good Governance which according to him is an offshoot of Father’s of Faith a body of Church Leaders in the State was inaugurated in January 2022 to re-christianize Christianity” in the state through involvement in politics with the aim of changing the narratives, ideology about politics and also promote good governance.
Professor Isong noted that in the past few months after their inauguration, the body has achieved a lot by embarking in a statewide tour to sensitise their members on the need to participate in the political process in election by registering and obtaining their permanent voters card (PVC) so as to be eligible vote in the forth coming election.
He added that the body also performed the function of a priest by praying for leaders in power for them to succeed noting that a prayer conference has been organized in the past to intercede for the government and the people and for the sustenance of peace and divine protection in the land.
The man of God charged Akwa Ibom youths not to allowed themselves to be used by selfish politicians to perpetuate violence and social vices in the state and also urged them to desist from blackmail and insult on any aspirant in the state saying that though God has chosen Pastor Umo Eno to succeed Governor Udom Emmanuel in 2023 other aspirants still have their rights to exercise their franchise and go about their political activities with out fear or intimidations.
He noted that the body will also promote what he called “political correctness” by promoting the spirit of sportsmanship among politicians during and after elections where loser will accept the outcome of an election in good fate without unnecessary litigation and the winner will be magnanimous in victory for peace and progress of the state.
