2023: Only PDP has a good prospect for the development of A’Ibom – Nkom
The Commissioner for Labour and Manpower Planning in Akwa Ibom State, Hon Aniefiok Isaac Nkom says only the Peoples Democratic Party has prospect for the development of Akwa Ibom State in 2023 and beyond.
Hon. Nkom stated this last weekend when the conglomeration of Ikot Ekpene Youths paid him a solidarity visit at his country home, Mbiaso, Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area.
The Labour Commissioner said Governor Udom Emmanuel as a visionary leader has impacted almost every sector of the state through his people oriented projects and programmes. He charged the youths to remain resolute in their support for the PDP and the Completion Agenda.
Commissioner Nkom said the manifesto of the PDP governorship candidate, Pastor Umo Eno dubbed” Arise Agenda” had the propensity to take the state to a higher pedestal of development. He described Pastor Umo Eno as a God fearing, passionate, dutiful and committed leader who is committed to the Akwa Ibom project.
Speaking during the visit, the Chairman of Ikot Ekpene Local Government Council,Obong Unyime Etim who also doubles as the overall Youth Leader of Ikot Ekpene commended the Commissioner for constantly engaging the people of Ikot Ekpene and bringing the up to speed with government’s programmes and projects. He thanked the Commissioner for embracing the youths of the raffia city. He reiterated the youth’s resolve to support the Governor’s Completion Agenda and all PDP candidates in the 2023 general elections.
Earlier in the event, a national Officer of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Comrade Uko Michael and the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ikot Ekpene Chapter, Comrade Etido Inyang Jnr unveiled the Ikot Ekpene Youth Roadmap which covers education,politics,economy and human capacity development. The youths intimated the Commissioner of programmes designed by the youth to guarantee the success of the PDP and it’s candidates in the 2023 elections.
