2023: I’ll secure, unite Nigeria if elected – Obi
The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Gregory Obi on Wednesday promised to secure and unite the country to curb insecurity if elected as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023.

The former Anambra state governor made the promise while addressing his supporters at the UJ. Esuene Stadium during the party’s presidential campaign in Cross River State.
Peter Obi also promised to support the Cross River State Government to enable it to revamp the abandoned
multi-million naira Tinapa Business Resort and make it functional if elected to office on February 25th 2023.
Obi lamented that upon the huge investment put in place by successive administrations in the state, there is no political will to make the Resort work.
The presidential candidate of the LP also told the massive crowd that his Government will end police brutality and (ASUU) strike if given the mandate. He also said his priority would be to move Nigeria from being a consuming nation to a producing nation If elected. He further stated that he will not fail in his promise of making Nigeria work again.
Also speaking the National Chairman of the Labour Party, LP, Dr Julius Abure said since 1999 Nigerians have been making wrong choices of leaders and called on Nigerians to vote massively for the LP candidate to change the narrative.
The chieftain of the Labour Party, Prof. Pat Utomi said with the emergence of Obi, a new Nigeria is possible that will change the narrative from consumption to production.
On his part, Rt. Hon. Daniel Asuquo, member, Representing Akamkpa Federal Constituency and candidate for the Cross River Southern Senatorial District in the 2023 senatorial election called on the every Crossriverians to ensure they cast their votes for Peter Obi as president and every Labour Party candidate to witness an uncommon transformation in all areas of the economy.
In his remarks, the state chairman of the Labour Party, Ambassador Osim Ogar called on every supporter of the Labour Party to be sure they get PVC to enable them to vote massively for all Labour candidates, particularly our presidential candidate, Dr Peter Obi to witness unprecedented turn-around economy in all the sector which had become moribund over the years of misrule.
