2023: Ikot Ekpene Ward ten declares support for Pastor Umo Eno
The people of Ward 10 in Ikot Ekpene Local Government, have declared their total support to His Excellency, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, for his completion agenda and to massively vote for the PDP governorship candidate, Mr. Umo Bassey Eno, during the 2023 general elections.
The people made the declaration during a briefing by the Councillor representing, Ikot Ekpene ward 10 and the Leader of the Legislative Council in Ikot Ekpene, Hon. Lawrence Lawrence Inyang, at his residence in Mbiaso, Ikot Ekpene.
The people also pledged to support the PDP Senatorial District candidate, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem, the Federal House of Representative candidate, Rt. Hon. Idongesit Ntekpere and the State House of Assembly candidate, Mr. Jeremiah Otu.
The people specifically thanked His Excellency, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State Mr. Udom Emmanuel for the choice of the person representing the good and law abiding people of Ikot Ekpene in the Akwa Ibom State Executive Council, Eld. Aniefiok Nkom – Commissioner for Labour and Man Power Planning.
According to them, Nkom within his short stay in the exco as the Hon. Commissioner, has made tremendous impact within and outside Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area. His outstanding achievements so far, among others, include; constant interactions with members of the party, massive defections of members of other parties to PDP, attracting government activities to Ikot Ekpene especially in schools, creating Job opportunities for the Youth in Ikot Ekpene and advising them technically on how to sustain in business, above all organizing a reconciliatory meeting for the aggrieved members of the party, particularly for aspirants that lost the nominations, thereby stabilizing the PDP family in Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area.
Present in the meeting were-the Ward Leader, Comrd. Aniefiok Ekarika, the Ward Chairman, Mr. Akaninyene Amos Ekanem, the PDP chapter Youth Leader, Eld. Lawrence Etim Isang, the Ward Secretary, Mr. Sunday Okure, Dr. Anietie Ekpenyong, Mr Idorenyin Nyah, Hon. Glory Etim, Hon. Eno Moses Enang, Hon. Justina Enang, the ward Youth leader, Mr. Micah, Women Leader, Ini Essien, Ward Executive, Elders, Dakkada Ambassadors, Mkparawa Martha, Youth Council, Christian Youth, Village Youth and other canvassers.
