2023: Development of Nigeria is my concern – Tinubu
Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC says, the development of entire Nigeria will be his great concern if voted in as the country’s president come February 2023.
Senator Tinubu stated this on Tuesday in Calabar, Cross River State capital during a town-hall meeting in preparation for the fourth coming presidential campaign billed to take place in Calabar on 30th December this year.
His words, “What is my concern is the development of Nigeria.
This is a talented country, God has blessed this country. Moving Nigeria forward is a task that must be done. Anger with one another will not solve it, and break-up will not solve it, but growing together as one united nation will strengthen us.
I have been inspired to dream big. We can also mechanize our farms. After this election, we will know whether we are progressives. We will beat them silly. We will keep our promise, we will work together to make Nigeria work. We will bring new hope to Nigerians”
When asked what he will do to curb unemployment in the country, Senator Tinubu said, “Fix the power, (the electricity) and the unemployment will disappear”
Also speaking, the state APC chairman, Barr. Alphonsus Eba said, “At last my headache is gone, we have had a man that will fix the problem of Nigeria, Senator Ahmed Tinubu is the man we can trust. We believe he will build a nation of our dream, we will give him all the backings he needed”
On his part, the Director Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Organisation, Governor Solomon Lalong of Plateau State says, “We thank you all for the kind support given to us, we want to assure the Crossriverians and indeed every Nigerian that we will deliver on our promise. When I came in I never can distinguish a town-hall meeting from the campaign a rally because of the magnitude of people we met there, the excitement and the supporters that were given to us”
In his remarks, the state governor, Senator Ben Ayade expressed hope that Bola Tinubu who we believe is the next president of Nigeria would deliver on his promise and give Nigerian people the renewed hope that his mandate represent.
“”I hope and believe strongly that, our incoming president, His Excellency Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu will deliver on his promise of a dividend of democracy to the Nigerian people and bring to the Nigerians a renewed hope which the mandate represents. The nation is beckoning on you” the governor stressed.
