2023: Akwa Ibom/Cross River APC Women rally support for Tinubu/Shettima
All Progressives Congress, APC women support group in Cross River and Akwa Ibom state has organized a joined support campaign rally for Asiwaju Ahmed/Shettima for president in the 2023 presidential Election.
The event which took place on Saturday at the N.U.J Esuene International Sports Stadium witnessed a marmot gr of women and other supporters for the Tinubu/Shettima for president.
The women campaign rally was led by the Senator Oluremi Tinubu, wife of Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the 2023 APC Presidential candidate who was accompanied by the First Lady, Aisha Buhari, other notable women who grace the occasion includes, Dr. Betta Edu, APC national women and Senator Florence Ita-Giwa.
The state governor, Senator Ben Ayade on his part commended women for considering the state for their campaign rally. He also promised to ensure the state total support for Tinubu/Shettima’s victory in 2023. “”Bola Ahmed Tinubu is already the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I want to call on every Nigerians residents in Cross River State to come out en mass to vote for the Tinubu/Shettima come 2023 to ensure total victory for great party” the governor said.
Also speaking, the wife of the state governor, Dr. Lynda Ayade stressed the need for every women in the state and beyond to get their PVC to enable theem to vote massively in the coming elections in the country. She also advice women not to hand over their voters card to anyone, saying their PVC remains personal document.
In the same vein, the state APC Guber candidate in the 2023 election, Sen. Bassey Otu, opined that, Cross River State is APC,ensuring that Cross Riverians will vote massively for all APC candidates including the Tinubu/Shettima come 2023.
